Friendly and helpful service
i have nothing but praise for the staff in the Irish embassy in Yarralumla. They have been very professional in all their dealings and have assisted me with my potentially difficult passport renewal . They have guided me through the process and have answered all my questions.
Great Job

thanks Brendan

Stop exporting grey hounds to China to be killed
I am appalled at this practice which we have now stopped in Australia.
Ireland had the first animal welfare legislation in the world. How can you condone this cruel practice in Ireland

irish passport renewal
You lost my first application telling me there was no application. Then this lost application was found. It is over eight (8) weeks since this first application was made. I have been over and back to Ireland for a month since and still no passport. My Australian Passport takes three weeks to be renewed.

COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHEN MY REQUEST FOR A PASSPORT RENEWAL WILL BE COMPLETED. THIS TIME FRAME IS MOST UNSATISFACTORY AND THEN EVEN WORSE THERE IS NOBODY TO ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU WANT INFORMATION

original documents
Unless I misunderstood , it is scary that the Embassy want original documents meaning a LONG TRIP TO Canberra or risk sending passports for myself and my none EU wife in the post ! Most embassies ask only for certified copies of documents and sad that Ireland seems to be still in last century on this matter . It is most distressing and OZ is a big country if someone has to travel to canberrra from W.A etc !!

Lost Passport
I lost my passport this week and applied for one immediately. i have 7.5 weeks left on my working holiday visa and my plan is to go straight to Asia and then onto NZ for a year. Im really worried i wont have my passport on time as they could not guarantee that i would get my 10 year passport within this time and may have to pick it up in ireland while flying back there on a temp passport. this cant be true?! anyone have any similar experiences and does anyone know if you can get a visa extension or anything i can do until my passport arrives HELP 0478971461 or murpham4@gmail.com feel free to text or call or email me if anyone can help me in any way

Tracking passport
I have sent my passport away nearly a month and a half ago and still can not track it. I need it back ASAP as I am getting sponsored. Does anyone know if you can get your renewed passport number or know how I could find out where it is or how far along the process it is
