To Colleen Dear Collen: I f you need to send the document to Uruguay, as it seems from your message, you need to send the document to the Uruguayan Consulate or Embassy in your country, in order to legalize it, then it comes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, to legalize the signature of the Uruguayan Consular Officer. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need help. I am a Uruguay-based Sworn Translator. My contact details are in the next comment.

legalizing a patent assignment to Uruguay I have an assignment for a Uruguayan patent application notarized in Galveston, TX. I have the authorization of the notary from the Texas Sec. of State. Where do I take/send these documents to be legalized to Uruguay? Can it be done in Houston or do I send them to the Uruguayan consulate in Miami?
